This 1974 Porsche 911S Targa was sold new in Belgium where it stayed its entire life. The car is repainted in red over a black interior and is powered by a 2.7-liter flat-six paired with a five-speed manual transaxle. Equipment fog lights, a removable Targa panel and 15″ ATS cookie-cutter wheels. A full inspection was carried out in anticipation of the sale, and more than 10.000 EUR was replaced. This 911 Targa is now offered in consignment with Belgian registration. French, Dutch or German registration can be arranged.
The car left the factory finished in Yellow and was repainted in Guards Red approximately two decades ago. A replacement Targa top was also installed under current ownership, and exterior equipment includes a brushed stainless Targa bar, chrome headlight trim rings, fog lights, and body-color impact bumpers. The chrome mirror was only for the 911S in 1974, which makes it stand out to other model years.
Silver 15″ cookie-cutter alloy wheels are mounted with brand new Vredestein Sprint Classic tires. Stopping power is provided by four-wheel ventilated disc brakes. The complete brake system has been serviced.
The interior is upholstered in black leather with matching door panels and carpeting. A new carpet was installed.
A leather-wrapped three-spoke steering wheel frames a 250-kmh speedometer and a tachometer with a 6,500-rpm redline. The five-digit odometer shows 80k km, though true mileage is 180k km. Approximately 200km have been added under current ownership.
The 2.7-liter flat-six features Bosch K-Jetronic fuel injection and was factory rated at 175 horsepower, an extra of 25hp to the base 911. For more than 10.000 EUR was serviced on this car. A new thermostat and oil lines were installed, a reseal of the engine was done and new cold start valve and rebuilt WUR were installed. On top of that a new fuel line, fuel filter and oil change was done. The brakes were serviced as well.
