Description

This 1976 Land Rover Santana was used as a farm truck for much of its life before it was acquired by the selling dealer in 2016. Originally finished in Grey with a Limestone hard top, the truck was repainted in Red by the selling dealer and the hard top was refinished in its original Limestone. Power comes from a 2.25L diesel inline-four backed by a 4-speed manual transmission, and assorted service records are included in the sale. Recent work included updates to the braking system along with various hoses, and the truck passed the Spanish ITV (Inspección Técnica de Vehículos), with the inspection good until February 2024. It is offered for sale carrying a clean Spanish registration.

The truck was purchased by the selling dealer with the intent to refinish the vehicle, and it was repainted its current Red Wine with Limestone trim in 2017. A matching Limestone hard top is included in the sale along with a tow bar.

A set of Land Rover Santana mud flaps are present on the rear bumper, and a matching Limestone rear door for the hard top is included in the sale. The steel wheels have been painted to match the rest of the trim.

The interior is trimmed in black vinyl, and the rear compartment has twin bench seats that have been upholstered to match. The wooden front door panels show some signs of wear and fading.

This example is a factory LHD model, and has multiple switches present on the dash in addition to a period Rands radio. Approximately 56,300 miles are shown on the odometer.

Power for this example comes from a 2.25L diesel inline-four that produced 62 hp when new. It is backed by a 4-speed manual transmission and sends power to all four wheels through a 2-speed transfer case. Multiple service records are included in the sale, and the seller had the brakes updated and installed new brake hoses.
